Hello and welcome!
Karl has done digital photography for the last 6 years and was a lifelong film camera photographer prior to that. When he was in college he was a photographer for his university’s newspaper and yearbook.
Karl has taken photos in several places around the world – most notably Germany, Italy, Austria, Liechtenstein, several Caribbean islands and the USA.
His photos vary from fast flying military jets performing at air shows to the Alps in Europe, from familiar scenery in northeastern North Carolina, to aerial photography, and landscapes. Locally he has taken photos of events like, the Taste of the Albemarle, concerts at AoA, First Friday Art Walk, and the Rhythm and Brews event.

Karl is one of the primary event photographers at the Arts of the Albemarle in Elizabeth City, NC.

In addition to his love for photography, Karl is an avid bicycle rider and loves the outdoors. He lives in Camden, NC with his wife, Kathy.
